Betty Crocker Maker: Barrett Radziun

Barrett Radziun is an avid baker and home cook currently living near Dallas, TX. Though he often baked alongside his grandmother as a child, Barrett started baking seriously while in graduate school at a music conservatory in New York. There, he was often asked to bake for recital receptions and conservatory events. In 2021, he baked through all 105 recipes in Claire Saffitz's book Dessert Person, and he is doing the same in 2023 with her new book, What's For Dessert. When Barrett isn't in the kitchen, he teaches classical singing at Texas A&M University – Commerce, performs with various professional chambers choirs, and enjoys spending time working on the yard with his partner Adam and their dog, JoJo. Radziun holds a bachelor, a masters, and a doctoral degree in music performance, and has performed throughout the United States, England, Italy, and the Baltics. His greatest culinary inspirations are Claire Saffitz, Ina Garten, Joy the Baker, and his two grandmothers.
